There are still many buildings from the Batavia age around the museum, like Batavia Cafe, Red Shop (Toko Merah), Kota Intan Bridge (Jembatan Kota Intan), Batavia Hotel, Maritime Museum (Bahari Museum), Syahbandar Tower, and Sunda Kelapa Harbor.
